Announcing the Magazine Mingle & More!

Has the coldest weather in years got you dreaming of something more? Escape it for a night of warmth and festivities (including a stunning view) with all those involved in the publishing community. Connect with colleagues, meet new ones and celebrate the wealth of Minnesota publications on display.

Now beginning its second decade, the annual Mingle is new, new, new—a fabulous location, professional improv entertainment and expanded networking. It’s the happy hour kickoff to a year of MMPA events. Tasty hors d’oeuvres are included, and there will be a cash bar.

The Magazine Mingle & More is sponsored by the Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association. The Mingle will be held at Vic’s on the Minneapolis Riverfront in St. Anthony Main. If you are a writer, a designer, a publisher or an editor, this event is for you. And if you sell advertising, cultivate readers or manage websites, it’s for you, too.

"Publishing continues to reinvent itself and so does MMPA. We're looking forward to a night of laughter and networking as the Magazine Mingle & More moves to an exciting new venue," says Sherry Shifflet, Chief Creative Force of Swirlwind Media and MMPA President. "We have this event because it gives us a chance to celebrate all parts of our membership in a fun way. So no matter what your role is in publishing, this event is for you to come and mingle with your peers while having a great time. This year we're showing our silly side and we'll have a short comedy act that's not to be missed. The Mingle is truly going to offer more than ever!"

Registration is now open. Sign up early for reduced rates—the first 60 registrants will receive a free parking voucher for the evening. Registration is limited for this event.
